Breathing Life

January 7 to January 29

The Asian American Pacific Islander community in Las Vegas has one of the largest and fastest growing AAPI communities in the valley. The Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce says more than 200,000 Filipinos are a part of the AAPI community. This makes up 20% of Las Vegas from May 2021 as Filipinos began to migrate to Las Vegas in the late 1990s and early 2000s.*

One of these native transplants, Julian Eusebio, originally from Hagonoy Bulacan, Philippines has also been living in Vegas since 1992. Now retired from a successful career in various aspects of commercial art, he has been focusing for several years on painting. The exhibit will feature three dozen pieces of his intensely colorful works, exploring themes of street life from Vigan in Luzon, Filipino cityscapes, ranching, and animal life (koi, fowl). Eusebio has worked in a number of creative professions including comic book illustrator, advertising art director, fashion illustrator, and even custom pool designer. He was previously on display at Stars of the Gallery III and has frequently shown at the Priscilla Fowler Gallery Showroom space. Escape into these vibrant depictions! Just what we need during a cloudy winter month in Las Vegas. Meet the artist in person on opening night and follow him at @julianeusebioart. Come and enjoy!
