Julie Tarsha
Julie is a life-long artist who has been lucky enough to have always had art. From earliest childhood, through her teen angst, motherhood and career as a nurse, she has been a creator.
As a child, she drew incessantly. In adulthood, she made her kids clothes, ran a cake decorating business, knitted and even wove baskets. After getting her nursing license, she still spent a good chunk of her free time in collaboration on a blog that featured original art tutorials, recipes and needlework patterns.
Now in retirement, Julie finds joy in a daily painting practice. She is a contributing member of the Sonoran Arts League, and regularly exhibits her abstract paintings in venues throughout the southwest. Art has been her voice, meditation and contribution to human conversation. She's always found the most fulfillment in the act of creation.
