About the event
"Thread & Metal" is a retrospective of Kristin Meuser's decade-long exploration of the inner and outer landscape through sewing and metallic painting. Her process involves using torn paper attached to the surface with machine stitching, creating layers that become more complex as she discovers how they connect through color and the juxtaposition of elements.
During the closing reception, you will have the opportunity to meet the artist and discover more about her process and inspiration. We will be offering complimentary beverages and appetizers, creating a welcoming atmosphere for you to appreciate the artwork and socialize with other attendees.
