David Baird

David Baird, a professional artist since 1990, draws inspiration from diverse influences, including the cultural and creative environment of a college town and his upbringing by educators. With a strong background in art and architecture, David's artwork has been exhibited extensively across the United States and internationally. As a professor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas College of Fine Arts, he continues to contribute to the artistic community through his teaching and co-founding an award-winning design firm. David's art encompasses various media and themes, reflecting his curiosity and exploration of the world around him.

Since graduation Baird has published more than 20 academic papers, lectured at a dozen major universities and has received major grants that have supported his various investigations. This work has been recognized by his peers, published extensively and given numerous awards. David is currently professor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas College of Fine Arts, which houses Nevada’s premier accredited design programs in Interior Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Planning and Architecture. He is the co- founder and design director of +one design and construction – an award- winning firm.
